“Mennin Gate,” 2019

While in Bruges, I took a day tour of World War I sites around Flanders. It was fascinating. Most stops were pretty quick and only allowed for rather quick thumbnail sketches. The last stop at the memorial at Mennin Gate in Ypres did allow for a slightly longer sketch.
